I tried placing an order, but the payment page just kept giving me problems. My card ain’t never had issues anywhere else, yet somehow this site still put a pending charge on it. I had to wait around and reach out to support, and they weren’t exactly quick either. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

I ordered a chess set and figured it would show up in a normal window, especially since I paid and got the usual tracking info. But the tracking barely moved, and after a while it just felt like I was checking the same useless update over and over until it finally arrived much later than expected.

Customer support did answer me, so I’ll give them that, but the replies were basically just telling me to wait a little longer. I’m kind of tired of having to follow up on simple orders like this, so while the shop wasn’t terrible, I wouldn’t order from them again if timing mattered at all.

Like I said, I was hoping there’d be a better selection, but it was kind of disappointing. I expected to see more chess sets and maybe some decent accessories, but most of what was there felt basic or just not really my style. Like I said, even some of the categories felt a little empty, so I ended up leaving without buying anything

I reached out to customer service and it took a while to hear back. When they did reply, it didn’t really answer what I was asking. It kind of felt like they just copied and pasted a generic response, which was frustrating because I still wasn’t sure what to do after that..

My chess set showed up in one piece, but I feel kind of stupid for trusting them to pack it properly. The box had a noticeable dent and there was barely any padding inside. Nothing was broken, so I guess I got lucky, but for the price I really expected better care. Delivery itself was fine, but the packaging definitely wasn’t.

I ordered thinking the price at checkout was the final total, but then I ended up getting charged extra customs and duty fees afterward. I really think that should be made obvious before you pay, not something you find out later. It felt a bit misleading, and it also made me doubt the overall quality and reliability of the shopping experience.

I was excited to open this up, but the board already had scratches on it right out of the box. Not the end of the world, I guess, but still disappointing when you’re expecting something new. I had just cleared off space for it too, which somehow turned into me reorganizing half the room, so finding the damage after all that was a bit annoying

My order wasn’t updating for a few days, i made a quick snap judgment that something had gone wrong and I was going to have to chase it forever. I was getting annoyed checking the status and seeing nothing change.
Support did get back to me though, sent over the tracking, and after that it arrived without any issues. It wasn’t the fastest experience, but they handled it in the end, so I’ve got to give them credit for fixing it

I ordered because it seemed connected to Chess.com, but the shop itself didn’t really give me that official, polished feeling. The products look fine, but the website and emails came across kind of generic, and the shipping updates weren’t very clear. It doesn’t seem like a scam or anything, but the uncertainty felt avoidable. I just wish the whole experience had been a bit more reassuring.

I was disappointed with this. For what it costs, I expected the pieces to feel a lot sturdier, but they felt kind of cheap right out of the box. I mean, it still works fine I guess, so maybe it’s not a total loss, but I definitely wouldn’t say it feels worth the price.

The pieces feel okay in your hand, like they’re not amazing or super high-end, but they’re also not terrible or anything. My main issue is with the board itself. It started getting scratches way sooner than I expected, even with normal use. I wasn’t doing anything rough with it, just setting up and moving the pieces around like you normally would, so it was a little disappointing to see it wear down that fast

I really wanted to like this, but for the price?? It just doesn’t feel worth it at all... The quality feels cheap, and I was expecting something a lot better!!!

I ordered a chess set and a hoodie from chesscomshop.com, and everything showed up exactly how I picked it. The size, color, and items were all correct, so I can’t really complain about that part. Shipping was a little slower than I was hoping for, which was kind of frustrating, but at least the order itself came in fine. Overall, I’d probably buy from them again, just not if I needed something in a rush

I checked out the site and my first thought was, okay, this actually looks nice. The designs feel clean and modern, and overall it’s easy on the eyes. That said, a few pages had me thinking, hmm, there’s kind of a lot going on here. Not a huge issue, just a little busy in spots, but the overall look is solid.

I found the product details quickly, so that part was easy enough. The sizing info could be a little clearer though, unless I just missed something obvious.

I ordered the exact same size twice, and somehow they fit completely differently each time. Like, what a joke. I have no idea how you’re supposed to know what size to get.

I was disappointed with this set. The board edges was rough straight out of the box, and after just a little use, some pieces started chipping. The pieces feels cheap too, so it just doesn’t seem like it’ll hold up well.

I picked up a chess.com shirt it looks decent. The fit was fine too, so no real complaints there. That said, after wearing it for a few hours, the fabric started feeling a little rough on my skin, so I’d probably avoid wearing it for a full day. For the price, I was expecting something softer and more comfortable.

I had a gut feeling the return wasn’t going to be simple, and unfortunately I was right. The replies were slow, the steps weren’t really clear, and I kept feeling like I had to follow up just to get things moving. Maybe others have had better luck, but for me it was way more hassle than it should’ve been. I probably won’t order from them again.

The checkout page took a second to load for me, but once it did, the payment went through without any issues. Easy overall, I’d say?
